Good Hair Day every day
I dislike my hair. It’s simply awful. I just can’t stand it! About 12 months ago I decided that I'd had enough of struggling every morning and that I would buy a pair of quality straighteners to help me in my quest for easy to manage hair .
I first came across ghds when a work colleague who had recently bought a pair, she said it was the best £90 she'd ever spent. I decided to get some ghd straighteners of my own. They didn't look too complicated to use. My salon was selling them in excess of £100, so I looked online for a lower price.
There are umteen websites that claim to sell ghds at very low prices, but after a bit of reseach I discoverd what a lot of them were selling were counterfeit ghds, it is very important to make sure you are buying from an authorised ghd retailer. The best deal I could find was (£88 with free delivery) on this great website: ghd stylers - they listed all the prices from all of the official ghd dealers.
GHD hair straighteners come in 3 sizes, those with thinner plates for short hair the mini styler, medium sized plates like those of the MK4 styler and thicker plates for very thick hair the salon styler. Normally I would have chosen the widest plates possible as my hair is really thick but I went for the medium size plated ghd as I wanted to try curling my hair with them as well - the salon styler would not be as good at curling.
The main bad thing I can think of about ghds is that they are more costly than most other brands of straighteners (prices I've seen range from £85-£110) but personally I think they're worth every penny.
